Without noticing, her lips had turned a light shade of blue from the cold, clearly too preoccupied with her thoughts of what waits for her at the ice rink—what plans Minhyuk had for the both of them. Soojung starts walking at a faster pace at the sight of the male. With a skip in her step, she walked towards him. Seeing that he was pacing back and forth in the oposite direction, she decided to sneak up on him. Soojung creeped up behind him and tapped his shoulder. She stands on her tiptoes to whisper in his ear, “Psst, did you wait long?”

Spinning around at the words, he blinked, surprised – but the shock soon disappeared and was replaced with pure comfort. That’s how he felt when he was in her presence; happiness and serenity. Nothing negative came to mind at the mention of Soojung. Smiling at her, he jokingly pointed at the watch on his wrist. “You’re late by two minutes. Do you know how cold it is out here and you made me wait?”
